Real Life Hunk of the Month February: William Levy

Born in 1980 in Cojimar (Cuba), he emigrated with his parents and sister to Miami (Florida) when he was fourteen.

In 2002, Levy was signed on with the modeling agency Next Models, but got his big television break on Telemundo’s reality show Isla de la Tentación and the competition Protagonistas de novela (like an American Idol for telenovela actors). The shows proved Levy was ready for stardom. Shortly after he was signed on for his first telenovela Olvidarte Jamas on Univision.

In 2005, he perfomed his first play as starring in Puerto Rico La nena tiene tumbao. Then the producer Carla Estrada gave him the opportunity to star into the Mexican television Televisa and to act in the pirates melodrama Pasión. His performance as Vasco was so convincing that the station offered him his first starring on the soap opera Cuidado con el ángel, with actress and singer Maite Perroni.

In 2009, Levy starred Sortilegio with Jacqueline Bracamontes, and he also lent his voice to the Spanish version of the animated movie Planet 51. From 2009 to 2010, he toured in Mexico and the United States with the play Un amante perfecto/Un amante a la medida. In 2010, he participated in the Mexican telenovela Triunfo del amor, with Maite Perroni again

In 2011, he starred as Jennifer Lopez's love interest in her music video I'm Into You, from her album Love?. And next year, Levy appeared in two episodes of the VH1 television series Single Ladies, with Denise Vasi. He also participated in the 14th season of Dancing with the Stars, where he finished in 3rd place with his dance-pro partner Cheryl Burke.

In 2013, he stars the Mexican telenovela La tempestad, with Ximena Navarrete.

About his personal life, I just highlight that he is a single father-of-two, his son Christopher, born in 2006, and his daughter, Kailey, born in 2010.
