Gus Kenworthy replies homophobic comments over Pride ski event

Openly gay skier Gus Kenworthy has taken to his Twitter account to shut down detractors of an LGBT ski event in Colorado.

Gus tweeted screengrabs of an Instagram post promoting Breck Pride Week. The event will take place 3-7 April in popular ski resort Breckenridge, Colorado.

The picture features skiers carrying the rainbow flag down a slope. Kenworthy also posted screengrabs of some of the most homophobic comments Instagram users have posted below the picture.

He wrote: "Always saddened by the homophobia on Pride posts. If seeing a rainbow flag while you’re on vacation upsets you then please do the world a favor and stay the fuck at home. Thank you to the many ski resorts that designate a week to making more people feel welcomed, included & safe!"

    1. They think their imaginary special friend gives them the right to press their will upon everyone. We live in a growing Christofascist hell hole.

  5. Rumor has it that he and Adam Rippon are going to star in "The Other Side of Aspen VII" over at Falcon Studios. It is going to have an Olympics theme, and mainstream actors Colton Haynes, Zac Efron, and Spanish sensation Martino Rivas are also rumored to be auditioning for roles in the hot new porn production. British diver Tom Daley has offered to partially fund the production if he can be given a co-starring role in the production.
