NewFest 2013 - The NYC LGBT Film Festival Reaches the 25th Edition

NewFest, the New York's premier LGBT Film Festival, celebrates its 25th anniversary, and second year in partnership with Los Angeles' Outfest and the Film Society of Lincoln Center.

Founded in 1988, NewFest is an annual one-week program of gay and lesbian cinema held in NYC. The festival screens features, shorts and documentaries that explore themes of sexuality by directors from the world over.

NewFest 2013 will run from September 6 to 11, and the screenings and panels will take place at Manhattan’s film mecca, the Film Society of Lincoln Center’s Walter Reade Theater and the JCC in Manhattan.

The festival will open this Friday with the New York premiere of Stacie Passon's Concussion. Take a look at the festival program or visit here for more information.
